Working hours – early shift (05.30 – 13.25) / late shift (10.20 – 18.15)
£20,092 - £21,811 per annum

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, hardworking and reliable General Site Assistant to join our existing Site Team. We are a large Junior School Community Academy with approximately 600 pupils based on a large site in Woolston. The role will be working on a rota basis with alternate early and late shifts each week with the Site Manager.
You can expect every day to be varied and busy as you support our staff and pupils by providing a safe, secure and well maintained school environment.
You will be confident in taking directions, communicating well and have the ability to demonstrate skills to ensure the maintenance, upkeep and development of the school buildings and its infrastructure, playground, footpaths, car parks, access points and mains services to a standard compliant with legislation and school policy. The role includes an element each week for internal and external cleaning responsibilities.
You will have a strong desire to work in a school environment and will be able to demonstrate an affinity for detailed cleaning of high traffic areas along with experience and skills in a trade, on a site or in construction.
